Helkama TE8 8sp 28” EP6

The top-equipped Helkama TE8 is a men’s hybrid e-bike with Shimano Di2 electronic shifting. The Di2 electronic gears of the bicycle shift automatically, but you can also shift them using buttons. TE8 offers easy and simple e-cycling, especially for commuting and urban riding. The bike is available in two different frame sizes: 52 cm and 56 cm.

The comfort of riding the TE8 is added by Suntour lockout front suspension, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and puncture-protected Schwalbe Marathon e-Plus tyres. The bicycle is also equipped with mudguards, kickstand and an Atran Velo pannier rack compatible with AtranVeloSystem baskets and bags as standard.

Carefree Di2 electronic shifting system

Carefree fixed Herrmans LED lights are powered from the bicycle battery. The durable and very easy-to-use Di2 electronic shifting gears do not easily rust or freeze. You can set the 8-speed gears to shift automatically or you can shift them yourself using buttons. In addition, you can adjust your preferred cadence and starting gear after stopping. The gear set recognises the crank position and times the shifting where it burdens the gear set the least.

Shimano EP6 motor

With the Shimano EP6 motor, you will travel swiftly, and the 85 Nm of torque will assist you in dire uphill scenarios. The motor is designed to respond quickly, which increases safety in fast-paced traffic. The robust yet smart electric assist is created for a stable and natural feel.

The downtube of the lightweight aluminium frame features a partly integrated BT-E8010 504 Wh battery. You can charge the battery in place or easily remove it for charging.

On the Shimano SC-EN610 display, you can conveniently monitor and browse ride data. The cycle computer displays your speed, distance, trip duration, time, gears, estimated range and battery charge. The selection switch on the handlebar has two big and clear buttons for switching between the assist levels and navigating the display menus.

Shimano E-Tube Project app

You can connect the TE8 e-bike by Bluetooth to the Shimano E-Tube Project app for editing the ride settings wirelessly. You can adjust the settings to match your riding habits and preferences directly in the app. You can create two different profiles in the app, switch between them during your ride and review your ride data.
