Classic reborn

Known by everyone, jopo has been part of Helkama’s bicycle range since the 1960s. The electrified version of the classic bike still has the same trendy and agile frame design, but it is boosted by Shimano’s high-quality pedal assist system. The additional boost makes everyday trips faster and easier and gives you the opportunity to feel the city’s streets in a completely new way.

Fits your style

The 2025 e-jopo bikes have the familiar classic design, but the wheels have been given a beautiful matt lacquer. Matte e-jopo bikes are available in three attractive colours: black, sand and lichen. Choose exactly what suits your style! All Helkama e-jopos are designed in Finland and handmade at our Hanko plant.

The three-speed e-jopo is equipped with mudguards, kickstand, frame lock and Herrmans front and rear lights. It has everything you need to enjoy smooth city cycling.

Shimano electric pedal assist system

The e-jopo features a Shimano E5000 mid-mount motor with 40 Nm of torque, assisting swiftly in uphill sections. The compact and almost fully silent motor is equipped with a torque sensor, which offers a natural and comfortable ride feel. The 418 Wh battery mounted on the pannier rack makes even long urban trips and shopping trips possible, and it is easy to remove for charging. You can also charge the battery while it is fitted to the bike.

The easy-to-read display shows you e.g. the assist level, speed, distance and battery charge. The display also works as a selection switch for adjusting the three pedal assist levels and turning the lights on. In addition, you can choose the walk assist mode for walking the bike. The motor then offers small but sufficient assist, for example, when going uphill.
