SE electric hybrid bikes are comfortable and versatile travel companions for all everyday mobility – and an absolute standard sight in commuting. The active, even slightly sporty riding position, combined with smoothly rolling tyres and a powerful motor, guarantees an enjoyable ride. SE is specially designed for paved roads, but its wider tyres are not afraid of slight unevenness.
SE is available with both a high and low frame design in several stylish colours. SE is made in Hanko and has the Finnish Key Flag Symbol – just like all Helkama bikes.
Perfected ride comfort
Shimano’s EP500 motor delivers a premium riding experience. The compact and quiet motor delivers 60 Nm of torque, allowing you to cruise even longer distances without getting tired. Shimano’s high-capacity battery is located in the bike’s frame, from which it can easily be removed for charging indoors.
The SE hybrid e-bike is equipped with the Shimano Linkglide drive system, which ensures seamless gear changes and smooth riding. Linkglide technology reduces wear and tear in the drive system and reduces jolting and jumping when changing gears.
Fully equipped
The Helkama SE comes with all the necessary accessories, such as a lock, stand, front and rear light. Hermmans Nucore Town Wave handlebar grips are made of bio-based material in Finland. The DRL daytime running light with the Helkama logo integrated in the frame is a stylish detail on the bike that further improves your visibility in traffic.
The clear SC-EN5000 display shows you the assist level, speed, distance and battery charge, among other things. The display also works as a selection switch for adjusting the three assist levels.
The bike has a sleek but sturdy pannier rack with the AtranVeloSystem for attaching accessories. This means that you can easily attach the bags and baskets from the product family by simply clicking them into place.
