Helkama SE11A 11sp 28” Autoshift

The Helkama SE11A hybrid e-bike is a new model for 2024. It is an all-inclusive bike for commuting and leisure cycling trips. Powerful Shimano motor technology, Autoshift function and frame-integrated rear lights raise urban riding to a new level.

The comprehensively equipped SE11A model has all the necessary basic equipment as standard: mudguards, kickstand, frame lock and front and rear lights powered by the bicycle battery. The pannier rack is compatible with AtranVeloSystem baskets and bags.

The hybrid e-bike features a high-quality air spring lockout RockShox Paragon suspension fork that evens out bumps along the way. The feel of the hydraulic Shimano CUES BL-U8000/8020 brakes is excellent, and stopping is easy regardless of the weather you are riding in. The puncture-protected Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyres are durable and roll smoothly on gravel as well.

The SE11A bicycle has rear lights integrated into the rear fork of the frame with style. The front of the bicycle also features a DRL daytime running lamp integrated into the frame with style as well as a Herrmans MR8 front light.

Powerful Shimano pedal assist system

No matter how demanding your riding environment, the 85-Nm maximum torque of the Shimano EP6 motor helps you to superbly make it through your trip. The strong and weatherproof EP6 motor offers steady power and makes sure that your riding situations are always under your control. The motor of the bicycle is smoothly integrated into the frame, so it also allows riding more technical routes. The lightweight and silent motor makes it possible to enjoy the ride without disturbances.

Shimano batteries are known for their performance and durability. The BT-EN606 630 Wh battery semi-integrated into the frame of the Helkama SE11A model makes sure that you can focus fully on riding instead of watching the battery display.

Thanks to the large touch area, the handlebar-mounted selection switch is easy to use while riding, also with gloves. The small, delicate and well-integrated operating levers make switching between assist modes easier.

Easy-to-use Autoshift technology

Shimano Autoshift is a feature that shifts gears automatically on your behalf. The technology ensures the right gear in any terrain and situation. The predictive sensor technology ensures the right gear by monitoring the cadence, torque and speed. The system automatically shifts to a lower gear when you stop. When it is time to start moving again, the bicycle automatically shifts to a suitable gear. However, you can also shift gears yourself at all times.

Shimano E-Tube Project app

You can connect your SE11 bicycle by Bluetooth to the Shimano E-Tube Project app for editing the ride settings wirelessly. You can adjust the settings to match your riding habits and preferences directly in the app. You can create two different profiles in the app, switch between them during your ride and review your ride data.
