Helkama SX product family

The Helkama SX Carbon electric hybrid is part of the SX product family, which offers versatile and sporty hybrid electric bikes suitable for commuting and cycling trips. The SX bikes have wider tyres that are not afraid of gravel or snow – making the SX suitable for varying urban terrain and weather conditions. The SX bikes are available in low and high frame versions and feature an active but comfortable riding position. The battery is elegantly integrated into the bike frame.

SX Carbon with lightweight carbon fibre frame and automatic gears

The SX Carbon is an electric hybrid bike with all the bells and whistles. The bike frame is made of lightweight and durable carbon fibre, which reduces the total weight of the bike and makes it more manoeuvrable on public transport or stairs, for example. The sleek design of the frame is crowned by a grey-green tone.

The Shimano Autoshift technology on the bike ensures that you can concentrate fully on riding without minding the gears – the system takes care of gear changes automatically. You’ll have the right gear when starting off, accelerating, climbing uphill or just cruising. The bicycle also has FOX AWL 100 mm front suspension to guarantee excellent riding comfort on pavement and gravel roads alike.

Cutting-edge technology and perfected accessories

Equipped with Shimano’s 2nd Gen EP6 pedal assist system, the hybrid bicycle offers an astonishing 85 Nm of torque to pedal even steep uphill with ease. The battery with increased 630 Wh capacity is elegantly integrated into the frame and is sufficient for longer cycling trips.

SX Carbon comes with a comprehensive range of high-quality accessories. The Ergon gel saddle ensures a comfortable ride even on longer trips. Hermmans Nucore Town Wave handlebar grips are made of bio-based material in Finland. The bike also features a sleek yet sturdy Urban Pro pannier rack with the AtranVeloSystem for attaching accessories. This means that you can easily attach the bags and baskets from the product family by simply clicking them into place.

The daytime running light with the Helkama crest completes the perfected look. Headlights at the front and rear also guarantee good visibility in traffic.
