Jopo, or JOkaisen POlkupyörä (everyone’s bicycle), is a bike beloved by cyclists of all ages and sizes, and it offers worry-free cycling in a comfortable upright riding position. Jopo was originally designed in the 1960s and has been a favourite of many for decades. In 2025, Jopo is celebrating its anniversary year, having been around for 60 years. All Helkama jopos are designed in Finland and handmade in Hanko.

New colours for 2025

The 2025 jopo bikes have the familiar classic design, but the wheels have been given a beautiful matt lacquer. Matte jopo bikes are available in four attractive colours: sand, lichen, ray and sorbet.

Did you know that you can also get an electrified version of the jopo? The e-jopo has the familiar frame model, but it is powered by Shimano’s electric assistance. The additional boost makes everyday trips faster – you can experience the city streets in a completely new way!
