E-jopo is an e-bike for everyone! The classic bicycle e-jopo is given an additional boost by Shimano’s pedal assist system, and it is the perfect city e-bike for an urban care-free lifestyle. Thanks to its versatile adjustments, the e-jopo is an excellent choice for the family’s shared bike.

Classic reborn

Known by everyone, jopo has been part of Helkama’s bicycle range since the 1960s. Now, the Helkama e-jopo is boosted by Shimano’s pedal assist system. The e-jopo is available in three stylish colours: black, white and mint. E-jopo bikes are handmade at our Hanko plant.

The three-speed bicycle is equipped with mudguards, kickstand, frame lock and Herrmans front and rear lights.

Shimano pedal assist system

The e-jopo features a Shimano E5000 mid-mount motor with 40 Nm of torque, assisting swiftly in hill sections. The compact and almost fully silent drive unit is equipped with a torque sensor and offers a natural and comfortable ride feel. The 418 Wh battery mounted on the pannier rack makes even long urban trips and shopping trips possible, and it is easy to remove for charging. You can also charge the battery while it is fitted to the bike.

The easy-to-read SC-E5000 display shows you e.g. the assist level, speed, distance and battery charge. The display also works as a selection switch for adjusting the three assist levels and turning the lights on. In addition, you can select the walk assist mode for walking the bike, with the motor offers small but sufficient assist for uphill climbing, for example.
